Clive Public Art Fundraiser

All purchases benefit the Clive Public Art Fund with proceeds going toward future public art projects throughout the community!

Fundraiser Description:
• 7"x7” wood tile handcrafted by Sticks®; hand drawn, contour etched, and vibrantly painted imagery selected from the public art project at the crossing guard shelter at NW 86th Street & Franklin Avenue

• $100 per tile—customize the tiles with a name or date for an additional $5.00!

• Eight tiles to choose from (see below). Each tile has been uniquely painted within the jewel-toned color palette; color patterns vary slightly from tile to tile.

• Tiles are appropriate for home and business, and they make great gifts for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, staff appreciation, etc.

• Inventory is expected to arrive early December!

Public Art at the Mercy Wellness Campus

Stop by the Mercy Wellness Campus/Healthy Living Center in Clive to view two different public art pieces.  Kudos to LADCO Development for including publically accessible art in their development!  Information and pictures of the two works of art are below.

Harmony Line
Location: Mercy Wellness Campus/Healthy Living Center; University Avenue and 124th Street

• Reflects Iowa’s historic agriculture based society and our current society's commitment to sustainable practices with re-purposed barn timbers and farming hardware, recycled glass, and local Iowa stone
• Expresses the concept of healthy living through expressive forms and use of materials that suggest movement, enthusiasm, and the complexity of the human body
• Expresses healthy living though an interactive experience of exploration and discovery, evolving visually depending on the viewers location, time of day, and time of year

• Expresses the concept of healthy living through the creation of a conceptual tree grove
• Provides an iconic gateway feature for the Wellness Campus with a distinct, unique, and innovate interpretation of a familiar, welcoming place-making element…a grove of trees
• The artwork reflects the goals of the Wellness Campus including key works such as: holistic, rejuvenation, multigenerational, and uplifting
